Erik's post on the glueboards was very insightful. I appreciate when people pass on their experiences to others before they find out the hard way as well. Erik's diagnoses was right on target. Depriving mice of their way into the house is the main goal; depriving them of food and water is the easy part! If anyone does by chance get a ferret, or for that matter anything stuck to a gluetrap; you can break down the glue with mineral oil. **Update on puking ferret!** Peanut is doing okay. I took her to the vet last Monday; the vet put her under and took X Rays and blood tests since she was 6 and pushing old age. He found nothing & surprisingly enough she is quite healthy for her age. His diagnosis: give her furball treatment 4 times/week for two weeks and then give him a call to let him know how she is doing. I have followed his orders; but she is still puking! Anyone have ANY insight on what the problem may be? I asked the doc about Mylanta and he told me that she doesn't seem to have a gas problem so that wouldn't help! I am switching their littler today to corncob(per vet) because I have not been happy with the results with feline pine and yesterdays news. We use pine as their bedding. She eats Marshall & Green food with an oily vitamin supplement mixed in. Water is supplied in bowls and both are replenished daily. With this info in mind; PLEASE, and input would be great.
