Hi folks, Well, since I joined this list over two years ago, I've come to feel that you are all like an extended family. I've never been a quiet one, and I've spoken with so many of you on so many topics. I look forward to reading posts from regular posters, and appreciate all the advice I've gotten over the years. It is for all these reasons that I wanted to post today to tell my FML family that I am having a baby. I would welcome any experiences from people about how to organize ferrets and babies. With my six furry babies, I know there will be many adjustments. Already my mother and sister have suggested "getting rid" of at least some of them, which I am totally unwilling to do. But I am renting a place with only one apartment, and my boyfriend and I are planning on buying a home. Any suggestions on a good floorplan? I'm figuring three bedrooms...one for us, one for a nursery, and one for the ferrets. Right now, the ferrets and humans share a room. We have also discussed moving to Indianapolis for better financial opportunities for him. So if anyone is in that basic area and has advice for looking for a home to buy in that area, again, it would be much appreciated. This whole situation wasn't expected, but is not unwelcome. I have so many things to work out at this point, that I have only just now come out of the shock enough to decide I'm happy about it. You all are so good at helping out with advice when advice is needed, and I am really looking forward to any advice I can get. Thanks for everything, guys.
