Help! I'm being sued by my own ferret!! Apparently my boyfriend noticed that my first of three ferrets, Mikette, enjoys privileges that the other fuzzies are denied. Mikette (and I'll admit only Mikette) is allowed on the sink while I wash dishes, in the closet while I get ready, and in the tub while I brush my teeth. Now, I don't think these are the safest fuzzie spots, but as a new fuzzie parent I had let her share in these activities with me, and now she refuses to give them up! I do not want to create more chaos by letting the other two fuzzies join in on these daily duties that Mikette and I share (by her insistence!) I've tried to explain to my boyfriend that Mikette was "grandferreted" in and is the exception to the new ruling. He however has already brought this injustice to Jillie's attention and riled her up. He is now representing Jillie in a court action against me. She is apparently willing to settle for Cheerios, but I really don't want to set such a dangerous precedent. Any advice? It is only a matter of time before the happy-go-lucky Baby learns of this situation and demands more ferret treats! Help! Risa [Posted in FML issue 3714]
