I have 3 cats with midrochips (the oldest is 14 and we didn't put one in her because takeing her to the vet is stressful on her poor health), 3 iguanas with microchips, and a dog with microchips. My ferrets do not. Why? Because I plan on adopting 4 more and them having a batch done on them. It is so much cheaper that way! Gail [Posted in FML issue 3623]
