A couple of weeks ago, me and my husband went to the petstore to stock up on some ferret supplies, and to grab some treats for a couple of fuzzies for the Christmas List thing. While walking past the fuzzies, i had to stop and play with them, and under a little igloo was the cutest little dark eyed patterned white, first one i had ever actually seen. I played with him while my hubby searched for a silver, there was none. So, after we played, we proceeded to get out supplies and came home. Three days later, all i could think about was that little dark eyed baby. We went back to the petstore because we were in the area, to go play with the babies, and give them some love and exercise. The little dark eyed baby was still there, hiding under his igloo, just waiting for his new mommy and daddy. I took him into a play room and began to play with him. I noticed he was stone deaf, and i began to think about what if whoever gets him dont know hes deaf and they mistreat him because of it. So, i talked to my hubby, and he let me bring the baby home. We named him Casey Jones. Last Thursday i came home from work to find my mother in law in our drive way. I went to talk to her, and her pocket book began to bounce. I asked if she knew if he purse was alive, and as she unzipped it, a little cinnamon colored girl popped its head out. So, this year for Christmas, not only was i blessed with Casey, i was also blessed with Ruby Claire. This brings me up to 9 now, and we are still looking for a silver for my husband. He's been wanting one for over 9 years now, and we think it's time he had one. We're looking for a little girl to even out the odds a little. At the moment we have 6 boys, and 3 girls. My mother in law is suppose to talk to someone next week about a silver. Wish us luck! And to Eppy's lost mom, my prayers are with you that someday soon you will find Eppy, or that someone will contact you in some way and let you know that they have been caring for him. My heart goes out to you! Jennifer [Posted in FML issue 3644]
