I forgot to add this on my other post, and I didn't want to forget it. I never really realized how much work all the shelter parents and rescuers actually do for all the lil fuzzy guys out there. I recently aquired three more kids, ( yes the furry kind, you crazy???) in addition to the four I've had for 2 yrs, that makes 7 (no, I didn't use my fingers..did you?) furry angels in my house. First off, I know that 7 is no comparison to the 20+ you all take care of everyday out of the kindness and love of your hearts. But I can now imagine how much food, water, money, vitamins, and fert must-haves you go through and need in a month. Not to mention all the time you give up to do all this. I was thinking of New Year's resolutions ( yea, a lil early I know ) and thought maybe this year I'll do a little something different. I think I'm going to save up a little money and start donating. Maybe my resolution could be to donate at least a few bucks to a shelter or organization every month or so. Maybe my resolution will catch on ; ) One more thing, I almost forgot (scatter brained today). I'm starting to make quilts..yep, I'm almost out on my own and decided I needed a hobby...so I'm learning to quilt. I know my first isn't going to be great, so I decided to make one for the ferrets. Does anyone know of any blocks or patterns with ferrety shapes in them? I'd really like to find one! Sarah WV [Posted in FML issue 3625]
