on...October 31, 2001 my youngest, SonnyBuns had to go to the hospital today...he has had a reoccurring hard lumb on his neck...well today it got huge...was about grape sized yesterday...that is the largest it has ever gotten...well today it was bigger than a walnut...so we took him in...he felt a little warm to me...sure enough...his temp was 106...poor baby!!!...he was burning up!...they did surgery... found no foreign object in there...TONS of pus...and could not remove all the damaged tissue...i asked why...he said he would have had no neck left...:( they are keeping him over night...and if all is fine in the morning...we can go get him...they sent the tissue off for pathology... saying it is unusual to have pus with cancerous tissue...but they need to know what it is... poor thing is only 6 months old!!!!...he is a rescue...and no telling what that 3 yr. old put him thru before his mother turned him in to the humane society! my poor baby...but the ppl at the vet think he is the cutest thing...he is a 3 lb chocolate blaze/panda...:) Sonny...4-27-2001 to 10-31-2001 a call from the vet...November 1, 2001 my ray of sunshine...my healthiest, happiest, sweetest, 6 month old baby boy is gone. he died overnight at the vets...he says he thinks the 106 temp was too much for him...i help and snuggled with sonny several times a day...he did not even have a temp till yesterday...i did not even get to tell him about the bridge...he was only having that thing removed from his neck! his daddy and i are devastated... kat --- KITY=^..^=KAT and the Kollektive http://www.geocities.com/ferretlover97 Rascal, Sassy, Wolfie, Monkey, Meeja, Pye, Noodles, Sandi, Holly, Eddie, Lucky, Cissy, Uh-Oh, Jack, Sassy-tudes, Angel, Bugs, Sonny, Snow & Sebastian...Holding "Li'l Bear" in my Heart...
