I just saw a commercial on t.v. that showed a bunch of really sad faced cats and dogs that are sitting and waiting to be euthanized. Their "crime" it states is they didn't have anyone to love them. The add says there are millions of them sitting there just waiting to die for something they didn't have any control over. How sweet and sad looking do you have to be to be loved?? This commercial just ripped my heart out. Like I need more grief in my life!( I am angry and sad) Aside from our own personal griefs we have had to deal with lately, this should be a major objective on our grievance list to deal with. I believe the world has responded so nobly to the NY crisis and the starving kids in Afghanistan... is it asking too much to give a little more to those who are on death row for just wanting to be loved?? Thanks to those supporting the Giving Tree and animal shelters around the world. Hugs Ferretguy [Posted in FML issue 3593]
