Boy did i learn something the hard way. Be sure to get ALL important information regarding any calls for a lost pet, make up a question and answer sheet @ best to keep by the phone. The boy who called about seeing Eppy in a park, may have seen him @ another park, and since no one got specifics, i may have lost prescious time locating him! I spent a few hours this morning driving around in the neighborhood hoping that he would wake up (dawn) and come scavenging, but...who knows he may have just well been, only in a different neighborhood than i was looking in!!! AUUUUGGGHHH!!! What is even worse, i am going to be working 8:30- dark ( period ) @ 5 pm it is dark here, so no luck finding a little ferret in a grassy field @ that time, and 2 days from now they are expecting SNOW! I WILL BE OUT LOOKING FOR FERRET TRACKS!!! The thought of my little boy getting cold, just appalls me, though...it makes me gravely ill. Dont think public places w/advertise lost pets for you, and a few business's w/not either. It is not an important community service i guess. I have emailed a few radio stations, and also am going to get copies of his poster attached to newspaper bundles for the route carriers TOMORROW (TUESDAY). ANYONE AND everyone who covers a lot of territory in a day, can see alot..i am hoping that maybe the postal carriers will be able to spot him for me...maybe some incoming messages this evening, but then that is can/b hours after seeing him...i don't know how fast this little boy is traveling!!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, Pray for my Eppy!!! i have to go to work with a smile on my face when inside i am dying... tomorrow... donna I am just sick in my heart right now. Hope for the best, and think the worst, well the longer it takes me to find him, the more pessimistic i become. Eppy loved everyone, dogs, cats, other ferrets...someone elses dogs...
