they will come!" That's our new slogan. LOL It's been a busy few weeks here with surrenders adding up. Most of these guys are in the 3 - 4 age group and the owners "don't have the time anymore". I honestly believe that everyone is cutting back as much as they can due to the economy. Not only are they not doanting as much, but they are getting rid of "extra expenses" too... ugh! Of course, we do have a few pending adoptions and inquires so let's hope for the best. We have an adorable 6 year old silver female named Laces. She's the most lively 6 year old I've seen! No obvious signs of illness and loves to play and is lonely due to the death of her cagemate before she was given to us. She's a Path Valley girl and loves kisses. Patch is a 4 year old DEW. He was a classroom ferret and wants nothing more then human attention. However, he doesn't really know that he's a ferret and other ferrets terrify him. We have let him out with our two gentl ladies, and he still sits there and shivers, poor boy. He'll catch on soon though, we hope. Plenty more guys here and two coming in Sunday. It's a great feeling to help these guys and that's what we are here for. It is disheartening though, to see so many that no longer fit into the lives of their previous owners. I just simply can't begin to imagine life without mine! May all of your broken hearts begin to heal and may all of your fuzzies war dance and laugh.
