Hi. Oddly, since I'd never heard of BuyBelowCost.com before Jen Morrison posted there, I got an email newsletter from them. (I probably made their mailing list when I wrote asking them to take Jen Morrison's post off their site!). Anyhoo, right at the top of the newsletter email is a picture of a really cute little ferret with the caption "Ferrets, Ferrets!!" When I clicked on the pic, an ad came up from someone in WA who is moving to Europe and cannot take her three ferrets with her. The male is 8 months old and is black with white socks and a black nose and is described as very, very loving and "he loves his cat"-they have been raised with cats, dogs and kids and get along with all just fine. There are also two small females who are 1 year old ("one female is very mellow, the other is bold and adventurous"). They have all had their shots and are healthy and friendly. The owner says they are well-loved and get attention, ("they are my babies and want to place them in a good home since I can't take them with me to Eur."). They come with a 4 level cage and lots of accessories. The ad also says "Will be driving along I-5 from Seattle to Oceanside, Cal for XMAS". I feel sad that this person can't take the ferts to Europe with her, and I was hoping an FMLer could adopt these three babies together. The woman's name is Sharon McKay, but you have to go to the BuyBelowCost.com site to email her-they don't display her address, you have to click on her name and they send her the email, I guess. I don't know if this is an FMLer, but I didn't see her post about these babies on the FML, so I thought I'd share it with you! Please help! You can go to http://www.buybelowcost.com/index.asp?action=addetail&adid=11600 see the picture and the ad and click to email the owner. -April [Posted in FML issue 3567]
