dooks to all you people out there, Well, i do know of two spiders that are potentially deadly to humans in the USA. They live typically in the warmer climates...preferably southeastern. The one you should probably watch out most for is the Black Widow spider. The female of the species(venemous), is all black and has an abdomen approx. the size of a large pea. Its got a red "sundial" marking on the lower side...this is very dangerous to humans, so i'm pretty sure that could go for ferrets, also. The last kind is called the Common brown spider...or better known as the "fiddleback" It's called that because it's got a shape of a fiddle on it's thorax. It's approximately the size of a quarter in length, and is also dangerous to humans. Others...i'm not sure of. hope this helps, darrin and the ferts [Posted in FML issue 3560]
