No, Bill, I don't make that assumption.  I don't even know how much
vitamin A it takes to make a human sick.  That 5000 I.U. in my
multivitamin tablets is the minimum daily requirement established for
a human, but certainly is not the most you can take.  What I was trying
to say was, in the absence of better knowledge, go with the label
instructions and give your ferret 3/4 tsp of Ferretone a day.
