>I contacted Marshall farms via e-mail to ask about their practices in >selling ferrets to labs. I specifically asked about sold for fur, as >someone accused them of on the FML,and what safeguards are in place to >insure the ferrets go to licensed, approved labs- and I got a response >the next day, and I was pleased in the answers and the quick response >that I got. Ditto. As far as being required to feed their food for one year to keep the warranty valid, I have to disagree. I can see this point: if you feed your ferrets complete crap for one year you can't guarantee they won't develop health problems no matter how excellent the breeding (note: I am not saying MF ferrets are bred to excellence. I declare myself an agnostic on the MF issue.) However, I just can't see putting that kind of stipulation on the guarantee. I have read the ingredients. In my opinion, it is not something I would want to feed to my ferrets. Why can't they just say that you have to feed a high quality diet for the guarantee to be effective?
