>First we thought it was due to an ear infection but he never got better >although the ears are alright now. My vet felt his spine on Tuesday and >she got to a point (approx. 1/2 to 2/3 down his spine) where Tom reacted >to her pressing a point on the spine like he was in pain or found it >uncomfortable. I'm just wondering what it could I would definitely recommend further workup on Tom - more xrays for sure, and bloodwork if it hasn't been done already. He may need specialized xrays with a dye to determine if something like a herniated disk is pressing on his spinal column, but this is something that needs to be pursued and evaluated. Pain on spinal pressure can be due to a number of things, and all of them need to be looked into in order to help Tom. Good luck.
