I'm getting a little nervous. My boy ferret who is about 10 months old has recently undergone a dramatic color change (yes i did notice a difference in the spring). He has gone from being white grey and black to almost all old man hair gray on his body, while his tail is still pretty much black. This has just taken a week or two to happen. That wouldn't alarm me to much but he has also lost a lot of weight.....my other boys haven't lost any (in fact i think they are fatter). But they are both a little tiny bit younger. Ohh one other thing is that while he is still playing with the others he has just reacently started nipping again....he had stopped. There have been no major or even really minor changes in the last few months. I haven't changed his food from totally ferret or anything like that. I have made a vet aptmt. for late next week. I'm just a little nervous as it seems to me that he has lost a 3rd of his weight in just a few weeks.....he is still eating. Should i move my vet apt. up? And does anyone know what this might be? Thanks in advance (you guys are all great). hanny, sanny, and quazzi! [Posted in FML issue 3474]
