I think my guys have a new game called "Let's Give Mom a Rude Awakening." (Since the upstairs walls are being redone I've blocked off the upstairs totally to the ferrets until it is done and moved everything that was up there downstairs.) My hubby lets our guys out in the morning and they both come over and sniff, dook, and snorkel until they find me. Cyrano isn't so bad other than his cold nose but once Merlin finds you THAT is the REAL rude awakening! His first action is to snorkel under the blankets and bite any piece of skin he can find and then war dance in glee as you scream, "Ouch!" :-) Needless to say he is a VERY effective little alarm clock. :-) Not to mention the fact that for the last 2 days my hubby has used our male cockatiel for an alarm clock at 5:43am. :-) No need to even plug one in, he will tweet non-stop until you get up. After the rude awakenings the guys then go on to nose through everything from the upstairs. It was so cute. The store delivered the drywall yesterday and the first thing the guys did was go over, sniff and explore that and the bucket of joint compound. They had a blast play fighting behind in the little tunnel it makes while leaning against the wall. Here I was wondering if they'd be mad that I had to pick up all their toys temporarily but I guess they've made their own out of everything laying around. :-) Faith [Posted in FML issue 3436]
