Ainsley & Kira are doing wonderful. They are the 2 little girls whom auntie Beata picked up from the London Humane Society. They are so pretty, but mommie sayz i'm not to flirt with them. Things are going to have to be quiet around here for a while. When Grandma gets back from the hospital, she's going to need some quiet time so mommie has to stop adoptions for a short time until grandma is up to having people in and out of the house. The surgery went well and the tumor was removed along with the hysterectomy. grandma didn't want to know if there was any other cancers found, but mommie did and is asking us not to tell granny until she's ready to hear it. the cancer has spread to grandma's liver, kidneys and throughout her stomach. the doc told mommie to make this Christmas count. Mommie is going to have some of her friends come over on the weekend to decorate the house for the holidays so grandma has something pretty to come home to. they are going to put up a tree and decorate it too..... i think the tree part is more for us kids to play in. last year mommie had to tie the tree to the window so we couldn't knock it over!!! It was very nice of the christmas lady to make a ferret tree for all of the shelter kids. so many times during the holidays us kids (never me, i'm spoiled) get forgotten. it's cool to see this year will be different for some "special" shelter children. To see the ferret tree, please visit http://www.geocities.com/mimsy_01/ferret_giving_tree.htm and pick a special kid to send holiday joy to. love to all, Harley "Bug" The Ferret Aid Society http://www.ferretaid.org Subscribe to the Ferret Aid e-list at [log in to unmask] http://www.igive.com/html/ssi.cfm?cid=1383&mid=43897 Use your mouse to raise funds for the shelter at no cost to you!
