Just a reminder for anyone new to the FML: there are over 3,000 people here, and since a number of them run shelters it can safely be assumed that the average number of ferrets per person is at least 4 or 5, so the sick ferrets being discussed represent a fraction of 12,000 to 15,000 total ferrets at any time. That said, It is important to read the medical posts and learn for future times. Fortunately, Bruce Williams makes the chance to learn so very much easier for us all. Ditto the other experienced vets when they get the chance to post and help each of us through a learning opportunity or an illness made more clear. [Posted in FML issue 3232]
