Just a reminder for anyone new to the FML: there are over 3,000 people
here, and since a number of them run shelters it can safely be assumed that
the average number of ferrets per person is at least 4 or 5, so the sick
ferrets being discussed represent a fraction of 12,000 to 15,000 total
ferrets at any time.
 
That said, It is important to read the medical posts and learn for future
times.  Fortunately, Bruce Williams makes the chance to learn so very much
easier for us all.  Ditto the other experienced vets when they get the
chance to post and help each of us through a learning opportunity or an
illness made more clear.
