I'm having to close my shelter down for good, and I must find homes for the four shelter ferrets in my care. Milo and Otis are a pair of 4 year old ferrets that must not be separated since they have been together all of their lives. I just picked them up this weekend and they are not yet up to date on shots. They are extremely laid back and appear to be in good health! Milo is a light silver MF with a black nose and Otis is a light sable MF, both males. The other pair of ferrets are two little girls that have been in my care for a few months now. Opal is an albino MF and Althea is a dark sable MF. They also are both in good health and are up to date on shots. I have two cages that will go with these pairs. Opal and Althea are in a 4 foot tall Martin's cage. I cannot transport this cage due to the size of it so you must be able to pick it up. Milo and Otis are in a much smaller cage due to my lack of supplies. The cage is probably 2 feet tall with two levels. Milo and Otis deserve a much larger cage than this and hopefully their new owners will be able to provide them with one! These ferrets are all free to good homes, but all potential owners will be thoroughly screened before they can take these kids home. I want to make sure that they go to good responsible homes! If I'm unable to find homes for them soon, are there any nearby shelters that would be able to take them? As I said, they come with cages and supplies! PLEASE don't flame me for what I'm doing here! I have to move again and it would be better for the ferrets and myself if I could find them homes before I move. If you know of anyone looking to adopt near Christiansburg, VA including the states of NC, TN, WV and MD, please let me know! I am willing to deliver these ferrets to the right home! Thank you for understanding and I look forward to hearing from you!! Kim [Posted in FML issue 3192]
