This is a plea for help, as these ferrets all need experienced ferret owners, preferably without too many more. None of them are mean, but they all have socialization problems. Hawthorne: 3 year old sable male. Came from a backyard breeder in Illinois. He was not socialized at all. He is now fixed and descented, but still not 100% sure about humans. We have a feeling that he will probably start biting again when he has to adjust to another new situation. Cider: 2 year old golden female. Came from the same backyard breeder as Hawthorne. She wants to play, but doesn't really know how, so she bites instead. She is now fixed and descented also. Again, she will be very affectionate when she gets to know you. Buttons: A 1 year old sable male, with a beautiful mask. Does NOT like changes. He starts biting again every time something in his life changes. He came from a very neglectful home. We would keep any of these, but our 9 ferrets do NOT take kindly to strangers, and we already have two play groups. You can see pictures of them on our web page at http://www.furryferrets.org. Please e-mail or call us directly at 314-638-5756 for more information about possibly adopting.
