Hi everyone! Thank you again to all who answered my adrenal questions. We just took in a couple of little babies on Sunday that were tossed to a couple of homes, and they're just about a year old. We found out that the original owners were a young couple dating, boyfriend bought her 2 ferrets as a gift, they broke up, ferrets are out! I really wish people wouldn't buy pets as gifts without the knowledge if the potential owner wants them in the first place. Their nails were so long, they curved!!!!!! And, they were living in PINE SHAVINGS!!!!! Needless to say the first thing we did when we got got them home was cut those nails, gave them baths, and gave them the proper soft sweatshirt bedding with a new sleepsack. That leads me to a POOP question. How large can poop really get?????? These 2 are pooping more than any ferret we've ever seen, and not only that, their poops are the size of what a cat would produce, and smelly!!! It's amazing!!!! Currently, they are eating Marhsall Farms food, and I was wondering if it had something to do with this type of food. Our other 6 ferrets have been living on Totally Ferret, and their poops are what we consider normal in comparison to all other ferrets. Does anyone have any ideas? Names -- we still are confused on names. The little girl has the cutest paws! They are white with black speckles, and she always has her toes spread out while she's walking and running. It's the cutest thing. We're trying to think of a cute name that has to do with paws. Any ideas? They both are very dark sable, beautiful! Lots of black and dark browns. Eyesight - The little boy seems to not be able to see very well. At first we thought he was blind completely because he was perking up his head to hear, and then when he was walking around, he didn't see the walls coming and bumped right into them. Then we waved our hands in front of him, and he followed them, but this was under light. We took white socks and he seemed to see something of those. Anything dark though, it seems he can't see it. Only very distinct contrasts. Any thoughts on this? Well, I think I've asked enough questions for one day. Thanks for reading my post and have a "dooky" day! A Snappy Happy Day Wish To You!!
