I was just devastated after reading of Denise's loss of Sherman, on top of
everything else she's been thru - everytime I think about it I just cringe.
And after reading her post, I reached into the SuperPet hammocks I have in
my kiddos' cages to find masses of those strings! I pulled them out of
their cages so fast it would make your head swim. What I also found with
each of them, is that the fleece flooring had become detached on one side.
I have washed mine twice.

The fleece on the inside floor of these hammocks looks to be no different
than what you find sewn onto many *open* type of hammocks, or in sleep
sacks. Many of my guys like to dig in their hammocks, but I have never
noticed the fleece coming apart - exposing that thin stringy stuff. The
Super Pet hammocks are so difficult to see inside of!

To Denise ... I want to THANK YOU in a very big way, for posting about
the very real hazards associated with these hammocks. I know it was not
an easy thing for you to do. My thoughts are with you.
