Hey, I'm an on-again, off-again subscriber but have had ferrets for a
number of years. Recently the door to my house blew open in a storm and
several of our ferrets escaped.

I live (specifically) in Bandera, Texas, which is about 45 miles
west/northwest San Antonio. It is conceivable, though, that if any were
found, they might have been taken to ferret-knowledgeable people in or
around the San Antonio area.

Six ferrets escaped. Nichodemus returned within minutes, soaking wet and
covered with sticker burrs. We found Molly in the yard just minutes later.
Two days later (after *much* searching) Ziggy returned, and a week and a
half later, Reverend Maynard was found nearby. All were still healthy and
in good condition I know that if the other two are still outdoors, there's
little hope of recovering them at this point. We've looked *everywhere.*
I'm only hoping that if someone has found them or SAFE or anybody knows
about them, they can contact us.

Who's still missing:

"Cosette", female (deaf) with red eyes and she's very oddly marked. White
head (somewhat panda-ish) with brown & cream colored markings on her body.

"Taz", male, sable with no tail.

Please, please, please let me know if any ferrets have been found that
might even remotely match these descriptions. I have been desperate to try
to find them. I can be contacted via e-mail, or (if the moderator permits)
by cell phone: (210) 218-4703.

thanks!
