>I have a friend who is looking for a ferret he doesn't have to pay and arm >and a leg for. For his daughter for christmas.he says he can't see paying >100bucks for it. If anyone knows of any Ferrets for sale or for Adoption >at a reasonable price would you please e-mail me.... Reply: In my opinion if this person cannot afford to pay for the ferret than the person cannot afford to own the ferret. The smallest cost of owning a ferret is buying it. The cost of food, shots & medical treatment is far greater and if a $100 is a burden now than a ferret is not the right animal for this family. Please educate this man. Introduce him to a shelter Mom who will certainly let him know the cost that he could potentially be in for. Dooks Lisa [Posted in FML issue 3189]
