I see so often people blaming the manufacterers of a vaccine for a reaction. Folks, you're forgetting an important component. Distributer handling. Many vets get vaccines through distributers, and it is quite possible that a significant portion of the reactions are because there *has* been mishandling, somewhere where there's no way to know. Maybe through ignorance, maybe through a simple delay that meant that the temps that the vaccines need to be kept raise higher or drop lower. All it takes is *one* person in an otherwise good company (or even at a vet's office), to leave a box out, or not put something where it should be, to compromise things. Look at ALL the factors...INCLUDING the distributers when looking at reasons for increased vaccination reactions. Report to the distributers as well when you have a reaction so *they* know something might be up. The companies, the USDA, distributers, etc. *cannot* know what's happening "in the field" so to speak without the vets that are seeing the problems reporting them.
