Hi, I haven't done all of my research yet, but i am possibly going to be needing a new vet, very soon. I am putting the cart before the horse so to speak, but one can never have too many resources, especially when it is for something so important as ones ferrets. I live in Kenosha, Wisconsin. I have already lost ONE ferret, because my vet didn't know what to do...i don't think i could handle losing any others to such an almost unforgivable end. Does anyone live in or around the area, that can refer me, for regular appts and also for emergency cases. I have 17 ferrets, all expenses are paid out of pocket. Most of my ferrets came to me, from other sources, 5 of them i purchased on my own. I love them all the same, and still am heartbroken over the loss of Athena. I have a couple girls that w/need some attention very soon, so that is why i am asking for some help from fellow posters and ferret owners...i would like to have a vet that is well educated in exotics, aka ferrets...Athena's death was needless. My Jasmines tail is thinning...and my Crimsons vulva is protruding.. I need help. Please. thank you all. donna, Zeus, Bandit, Jalepeno (the original 3), then there came Crimson & Clover, followed by Athena & Hera, Samson & Odysseus, Sadie & Jasmine, Fenris & Frey, Aphrael & Flute, Theodore Edward Bear, Blossom & Freya.
