I found several unused ceramic tile remnants in my attic a month ago, and washed them thoroughly. I then set them under the playtime litterbox (out in my room). This cuts down on buttscrapes and other yuckies getting into the carpet, and the tile is easy to wipe clean. Well, the girls didn't seem to mind, but they loved to push the litter box around on the tile and poop behind it. Sheesh! Sooo, I purchased some velcro strips with adhesive backing, and cut a little square off. I stuck a piece to the tile on which the box sat, and a piece on the box itself. Now they can't budge it, but I can remove the box for cleaning. So, hang on to those remnants, or ask neighbors who are renovating. My girls also went to the vet today (Thursday) and everything was fine. Fifi's tooth, all black and evil-looking in one spot, is just broken at the end, and the vet says it's probably "dead". It won't be a hazard unless the gum seems irritated, so I'm watching closely. Does this sound right to you guys? It seems to make sense to me. ~Jessica [Posted in FML issue 3147]
