Hi all! Sorry it's been so long since I've posted, but things are crazy here in Colorado! My little girl, Trixie, is turning into a real sweetheart. We got her back in January and she was about 3 months old. So we figure her to be about 10 months now. When we got her she was a nipper, like all kits.... took us forever to litterbox train her, but we've finally succeeded in that department. (We ended up getting the big square ferret litter boxes and putting them in nearly every room.....but it worked!) She's healthy and sassy and I just adore her. Well, she's finally reached the stage where she WANTS attention. She'll come up to me in the evenings crawl up my shirt and look at me, so I'll cradle her on her back in my arms like a baby and rub her chest/neck until she falls asleep. I love it! During the day when she wants attention she'll follow me around until I stop........and she'll fall at my feet, roll over with her paws on her chest, and stare at me until I reach down to pet her. She's becoming a lap ferret.......and she's just so sweet! Does anyone else's ferrets do these things? :) Love and Dooks to all! Shea & Trixie [Posted in FML issue 3115]
