This is a message to all who got to meet and know Amy.... We came home to her seizuring and rushed her to the vet. Amy continued to seizure despite all we could do (Introducing sugar into her body didn't help) and after watching her suffer through another Grand Mal Seizure, I had her put to rest. Some of you might remember Amy as the wonderful albino that would kiss you forever or let you hold her until she fell asleep. She had won multiple prizes for running but I best remember her as the ferret that won for kissing. She once kissed for 1 minute and forty five seconds without stopping. She was just so full of love that she would give anyone kisses whenever she could. Amy was an great ambassador for all ferrets. With me, she had visited over 20 elementaries and had been petted by hundreds of children. She was even in a Nordstrom calendar. She was simply too wonderful to discribe. But here goes...... This is for a wonderful animal that touched so many people. Amy was an ambassador of ferrets and let anyone touch and hold her. She was always available to give kisses and was just a sweetie. I have never owned an animal like her and I doubt I ever will again. She was just, for lack of any other word, amazing. She will be so dearly missed by all who have ever met and known her. I miss you my sweet little white friend. I hope you are happy where you are now and I look forward to seeing you and getting your kisses again. Please all you great ferrets in the Rainbow land...give my Amy a big hug and a kiss for me. Goodbye my Amy goodbye...... 02/14/89 - 07/08/00 [Posted in FML issue 3107]
