My little ones:

Two more ferrets grace our home and
Cheyenne is overcoming his deep depression.

I went on a vacation.
My receptionist had a little boy.
Your grandmas' leg is better:

Life goes on.

I realized today that
I have not slept in my bed
since your deaths.

Curious-how these things evolve.
I ran out of comedies to rent
 a long time ago.

It has been so many months.
How swiftly
 fleeting: life.

You are all around me
My precious ones.
Your pictures are on the walls.
Your special toys displayed
 in the curio cabinet.

I see you in a nod, or a strip of Velcro,
or McDonalds; at the park.

I miss you bad tonight,
though the goofies
leap and fight
all over this very minute.

I fixed up the bedroom today
just as I want it.
Soon, I may sleep
in bed again.

Life goes on
And so do I.
More poop to clean
some tears to cry.

Life goes on
and so must I:
    But I'll be with you
    bye and bye.

Love you:

With all my heart
