Jean of Ferrets Unlimited in Cleveland OH, asked me to post this, as her computer is still non-functional. She has 3 ferrets, ages 7, 8 and 9, scheduled to come into her shelter this weekend. These ferrets have been together in the same home for at least 6 years, and are presumed non-ECE exposed. With about 70 ferrets in her shelter, Jean knows that she will not be able to give these guys the attention they will need and deserve. They will likely be exposed to ECE. The oldest has possible insulinoma. She fears coming to her shelter will be a death warrant for them due to shelter shock or ECE. Is anyone willing to give them a loving home for the time they have remaining? Jean will adopt them out for any donation. Jean also has many healthy adoptable ferrets, from 1 to 6 years old, available for a donation, as well as several special needs ferrets. If you can open your hearts and homes to any of these fuzzies, call her at 216-749-3885. Be patient, it may take her a day or two to get back to you. Jean also sends special thanks to Kat Parsons for her generous Ferret Store gift certificate!! Linda Iroff Oberlin OH [Posted in FML issue 3114]
