There are two ferrets, one male and one female that need a home in Western, Pa. They are both two years old, chocolate and from Marshall Farms. They are so similar in appearance, I would guess they were true brother and sister. I don't know if Marshall Farm's ships this way, but if they do ... then they are. They were given to me by an acquaintance. The reason ... works more often, blah, blah, blah, no time, blah blah, blah, his kids won't take care of them, blah, blah, wait a minute! He's the one that wanted the ferrets in the first place! Oh and by the way, he's dog just had babies and guess what? He's keeping two of the puppies. Anyway I'm glad that he decided to find them a new home because I was very disappointed in how they were cared for. He lives in Virginia, so it wasn't until the ferrets were picked up off of him did I know. They were given to me in a small kennel, the floor lined with clay cat litter and that's it. I guess this is what they are supposed to poop, pee and sleep on? The food in there dish ... my best guess is puppy food. I wasn't given any additional food (the person that picked them up didn't know to get any). I mixed what I had with Totally Ferret, and thank heavens they liked it. They are both skittish and a little to skinny. The cages that came with them are um, not complete. One is smashed on top with no bottom and the other is one of those cages you use the tunnels in, but there's not enough parts to close up all the holes. These cages were also empty ... not a fluff to sleep in or a hammock to sleep on. They are both very sweet and the boy has the darkest eyes I've ever seen, it's hard to explain. Anyway, I am willing to drive some distance to give these two a good home.
