Hi Gang Here is a tail-tale that should go down in the "DUH File". On the way to Walmart this afternoon, I saw what looked like a ferret crossing the street about a block away. I was going to turn right but went ahead and crossed the intersection and about that time the "ferret" ran across the street and climbed up into the rear wheelwell of a parked car. I stopped my car right in the roadway to "rescue" someone's lost fuzzy and when I got down on my hands and knees I found myself eye to eye with a young and somewhat miffed Yellow Belly Marmot. He looked at me as if to ask..."Hey bud. What's your boggle????" My wife said " Hey, Honey, why don't you move the car out of the road...and then try to rescue the marmot". I tell you what, My wife has a way of putting things into the perfect perspective. I parked the car and checked out the marmot to see if he was okay. Couldn't really tell but the problem was he probably did need to be rescued because he didn't have much of a home left as developers have really been building here in the Truckee Meadows. When We moved out here (So. Reno) we were kinda like out in the boonies but now where horses used to graze and marmots roamed free... are Petco, and Chevy's, and Bargains, and Comp.USA, ect ect ect. Poor baby didn't know where to go but he sure didn't want to leave that tire he was perched on!!!!! LOL. All of our babies are doing well and thanks to all the people that answered my last post. I even got some updates on my special needs furbutts. I will try the nutrical!!!! Stay Fuzzy and give all your carpetmonsters a hug for me!!! [log in to unmask] [Posted in FML issue 3077]
