Hi all.. I think there are some on this list who will enjoy this story.. I have 3 insulinoma fuzzies who get "goo" 3 times per day to help keep their glucose level.. I also feed it every other night to the general population just in case.. So tonight it was goo making night..... i get out the blender.. i put the blender together.. i put in my totally ferret.. i grind it up.. add the baby food and a/d.. add the water.. stir the clumps down from the side of the blender......... and then.............. the blender container unscrews itself from the base.. and the goo oozes out of the bottom.. i think.. ok.. this isn't going to be too bad.. i'll just turn the container and tighten it back up.. not a disaster.. not a big mess.. i'll be ok.. i turn.. seems to tighten... ok.. let's pour it out and i'll clean up... i lift.. it separates... i have a fountain of brown goo running all over the blender.. just like a volcano.. over the sides.. pooling on the countertop.. i scream at the top of my lungs.. "MICHAAELLL" my poor long suffering husband comes running in to find me holding on to the blender for dear life.... and laughing so hard that i'm about to cry.... he the resourceful man he is.. (of course he does not have two hands covered in brown goo either) decides to lift the whole blender up and pour... after a bit more drops onto the counter.. then the floor.. the remaining goo is in a bowl.. michael looks at me and says "if i ever write about this ...i'll have to sell it as fiction because noone will believe me" told him i knew a whole bunch of people that would understand completely.. so do ya'll?? :) Sandy & The Adams 26 p.s. they're happy... i gave them all the leavings..... piggy little ferrets have full bellies and are all settled in to sleep for a bit now.. :) [Posted in FML issue 3060]
