Not a big deal, just one of those things I wonder about. When I trim
nails, I notice that the differences between the sets on the front paws
versus hind paws.

Without fail, the front sets are about twice the length, seem thicker,
stronger and more *pointy* than the back sets.. even though the same
length of time has passed from trimming both.

Now I am assuming this is one of natures little tricks that is there for a
reason... my question is.. do any of you guru's know percisely what that
reason is??? For hunting purposes? Traction? Self-defense??

Anyone know the *technical* explanation for this??
