Hi to all list members. I have been making a few changes in the diet here at Moonsong Ferrets. I am increasing the amount of "wet" food. I have a couple of questions for Bob C. or any one else on the list. Our basic diet kept in front of the ferrets continuously is Mazuri ferret diet. Then I have a twice a week treat of Laxatone. The ferrets all get a water soluable vitamin twice a week. Now every other day they are being given a tablespoon each of my version of the ferret soup. It is basically hard boiled eggs, canned cat food (never fish and of the highest quality available), ground up Mazuri, Pedialyte, yogart and a little cottage cheese. These are all mixed together. After warming I add wheat germ oil, cod liver oil and powdered calcium. My ferrets gobble this down and usually want more. Now here is the question can I give them more and can I give it to them more often? Do you see anything seriously out of balance in this formula? Thanks Judith Moon, owner Moonsong Ferretry, a totally different kind of ferretry. http://moonsongferrets.virtualave.net [Posted in FML issue 3030]
