Scamp was Nancy's little one that had an inoperable tumor in the lining of his stomach. He had gotten to the point that he couldn't eat enough to maintain his weight and was slowly starving to death. Nancy had bought Scamp in Feb of 1995. Scamp picked Nancy as his and so it was to be. Scamp lived with me as do Nancy's other ferrets, because of personal circumstances that don't allow Nancy to keep the little one's with her. Scamp was a gentle ferret and when you picked him up he went limp. He loved to go outside, even up till the day he would be helped out of this life. Five years is such a short time to share with a loved one.... Nancy and our vet helped Scamp leave. If you would like to send condolences to Nancy, her address is [log in to unmask] Warm hugs to all. tle Troy Lynn Eckart Ferret Family Services http://www-personal.ksu.edu/~sprite/ffs.html http://www.geocities.com/Petsburgh/Haven/5481/ Please sign up to support our charity http://www.iGive.com/html/ssi.cfm?cid=46&mid=58395 [Posted in FML issue 3007]
