I have noticed that alot of the older living ferrets have been fed live
mice regularly - I have always thought that Jr. would play with them
instead of eating them - Well yesterday morning I got up and let the boys
out of their room - They beat me to the kitchen as usual - As I got there
I noticed Jr. picking somthing up and taking off with it - After dragging
him out from his hiding place I found he had a grey mouse in his mouth -
Dead - It was cold so I know he didn't kill it but he was latched on - I
had to pry his jaws apart to to get it away from him - He was very mad
about me taking it away - It obiously excited him alot - I think my
daughters dog caught it - He had been stalking one under the freezer for
awhile - My question is how would I go about seeing if he (Jr.) would eat
one? A clean, feeder mouse of course - They would need to be in an
enclosed area, of course, right? Bathtub maybe? I want my boys to be
as healthy as they can for as long as they can, and since Jr. is only 7
months old maybe I could really improve his life expectancy -

Opinions?

Thanks -
Mindy, Jr.(It was MINE, Mom!!),and Slim(...So what happened??)
