In reference to the question about leaving California with pets . .
. The man in charge of the legal immigration of pet ferrets from the
state is Bill Phillips. He is an attorney who has been involved in the
attempts to correct the_Ca. Fish & Grime's unconstitutional stand on
ferrets.
 
Bill also founded_the Ca. Domestic Ferret Association (CDFA) and has
an excellent handbook concerning ferrets, available for $25.
 
Anyway, give him_a call at 707-431-2277 (his office) and ask about the
borders surrounding California.
