[BTW: since this is a mailing list, and you can always get to anybody via
ferret-list@spectrix, signatures aren't particularly useful and are
somewhat wasteful of net bandwidth since each recipient gets their own copy
via some route.  I will be truncating most signatures to simply people's
names and email addresses (though even the latter isn't strictly necessary)
