I brought Gumby in to the vet. He gave him a checkup and a few
injections including a steroid for the fur loss problem. He also
checked for mange which Gumby did not have. Gumby's fur grew back
fairly quickly (about 2 weeks) and he is back to normal. Fleas went
away for a few months but are starting to reappear.

The vet wanted to charge me about $150 for his services. The charges
were broken down for me first and printed from his computer. They
included an overnight stay, flea dip, rabies and some other
injections. I told him it was too much and we took off the flea dip,
overnite stay and some of the injections. Final charge was about half
and Gumby is now back to normal.
