OK, here's what it says on the back of the bottle: "TCP is an aqueous
solution of Phenol B.P. 0.175% w/v: halogenated phenol 0.68% w/v and
Sodium salicylate B.P. 0.052% w/v."
 
[I'd read off the makeup of Dettol, but Gregory just tore and mangled
the label into little bits ;-)]
 
As I said, just wipe the tail with this solution for two or three days
and the hair will start to regrow within a week.
