A koosh-ball is a ball that seems to have been turned inside-out.  It
has round strands of rubber sticking out in all directions.  I've seen
them used for juggling, as they are easy to catch, and don't bounce.
You can get them in toy stores, novelty shops, and even bookstores
sometimes.
