I would like to be placed on your mailing list. I have owned ferrets in
the past and will again but presently am ferret-less. One of my dogs and
my cat grew up playing with two ferrets. I collected the past issues of
the newsletter from David Sherry. I am very interested in a means for
communicating with ferret owners because I would like to conduct research
on ferret behavior problems. They are becoming an extremelt popular pet
in some areas but few people know anything about their behavior. Even
fewer know what to do about a particular problem. I have been working
with dog and cat problems and would like to expand my service to include
ferrets but I need to learn as much as I can first. I will probably put
together a questionnaire when I have time which I would like to have
included in a future issue. I will welcome any correspondence on ferret
behavior. My address is [log in to unmask] I hope this message isn't too

[Actually, in UUCP land, it's more like "[log in to unmask]" or
"psych.toronto.edu!preid" (if you have a smart mailer) or god knows what
for a full bang path. Here I am a U of T CSC grad and know half the
SA's there, and frankly, I can't make hide-nor-hair of the screwed
up mailers or paths that U of T uses.]

garbled - the room became a meeting place for everyone all of the sudden
and I continued to write and talk at the same time! Thank you.

[Y'r welcome]

Cheers, Pam Reid
