Chris,

I'm the happy owner of two feisty ferrets in Lincroft, New Jersey. I am
interested in the information you have on the rabies vaccine you wrote about,

[This was some printed material that Scott Dudley (uunet!vsedev!scott)
surface-mailed to me. Not electronic. It was some relatively recent
information from a lab that has expressed interest in getting a specific
vaccine certified. Let me know if you want a copy (or ask Scott - his
mail will get to you a lot quicker than mine). Though, are you aware
of the Chuck and Fox Morton book "Ferrets" which describes the situation
at a more general level? ]

and also about the "Ferret Mailing List." Don't know how to tell you my path
unless it prints automatically for you, but it would help if you posted some
information on this list to the net.

[You got caught by my periodic "make blunt hints about the mailing-list's
existance on USENET rec.pets" ploy. You're subscribed now.... Actually,
it's simply a list of about 40-50 people who own or are interested in ferrets
who chat about things of interest. Ranging from funny ferret stories to
Lymphosarcoma. All articles are sent to me, and I kick 'em back out again to
the whole list of people. See the trailer to this message to see how to
do it.]

Thanks,
