HELP! Forgive me if this rambles or is long, I don't know where to start.
Let's try: Molly first got green diarrhea in January when I brought Merlin
home (he was 3 months old, she was 2 years). One vet said ECE and she was
treated for that, partially cleared up then started having diarrhea again.
I brought her to the ferret expert vet in these parts and he said
helicobacter infection due to stress and treated her for that. She cleared
up for about a month.

Then the seedy-looking loose stools started, sometimes they were
greenish/grayish colored. She is eating fine, acting fine, there's been no
new stress in her life. A couple weeks later Merlin starts having the
seedy loose stools. The vet says helicobacter again, due to stress. (I
said, what stress! and he said could be anything). So Molly went on
Clavamox, but every time I gave it to her, she would shake and freak out
and have worse diarrhea (talk about STRESS!). It didn't do a thing to
clear up the stool either. Then I brought Casper home, a 4 year old.
They all got along great, no fighting at all.

His poops were great for the first 2 days, then he starts in with the
seedies, then it became diarrhea, then he started vomiting and pawing at
his mouth. He's now on sucralfate but not doing much better.

The fecals were negative for everything. I find it hard to believe that
I have such horribly, easily stressed ferrets and haven't ever heard of
anyone else's ferrets having such bad reactions to new additions. Does
anyone have a ny ideas, any at all? I will soon be adopting two new, older
ferrets and definitely do not want them getting sick (not just for their
sake, but for my bank account's sake, which can't take much more of this
high-priced vet!) Please help!!!
