There are at least 5 formulations of Lupron available:

 3.75 mg
11.25 mg (a 3 month time release formula)
 7.5 mg
22.5 mg (a 3 month time release formula)
30 mg (a 4 month time release formula)

The first 2 formulas are used to treat endometiosis in women, the latter 3
to treat prostate cancer in men. The above info is from
http://www.lupron.com

Most vets are using the 3.75 mg (milligram) formula, divided into 100 mc
(microgram) doses. Thus they can get 35 ferret doses from one human vial.
Dr. Weiss has been testing the 30 mg/4 month formula, divided into 3 gm
doses, only 10 per vial.

Belle, who turns 7 next month, got her first 100mc shot Saturday. Her
vulva, which has been huge, seemed a little smaller to me this morning,
but it may be wishful thinking on my part. I will report on her progress.
