hi all!  It's been a while since I last wrote here regarding Tinker.  Just
to let you know, he is doing great, and has gained all the weight back that
he has lost.  He is still on duck soup, unfortunately, but he has been
healthy since his last hospital visit at the end of March.  If you don't
remember, he was the one that ate a banana peel, had ulcers and it was
downhill from there.  His last illness was a bacteria in his throat that was
uncommon in ferrets.  Luckily we had the best doctor(s) and staff at
Brockport Animal Hospital, and great advice here!!
 
When that happened, Koty, my other little monster started getting very
depressed without his buddy Tink.  So, we added to the family, with Grandmas
help, we couldn't resist Comet, a MF male Albino (big boy!) named after the
passing Comet Hyakutake.  They all are a riot to watch in their new clear
dryer tube that we couldn't resist treating them (us?) with.  Thanks to the
person that passed that info along to us.  I wonder what the people thought
at the lumber/hardware store in CO that we bought it from.
 
I also just tried showering with Tinker, instead of bathing him in the tub.
It was much easier on him and me.  I really didn't think it would work when
it was mentioned here a while ago, but with these guys you really need to
have a opened mind!
 
A special hi to Meg, sorry I haven't kept in touch lately, the semester is
almost over!! :) Summers schedule will be lighter!
