 ... here's one for you:

I made this see-saw for my kids a bit before last xmas, but never got
around to putting the pictures up on my webpage. on a recent visit to
Calgary, I stopped by Betty and James and their Blur O'Fur (highlight of
my trip!), and promised them pictures of this new toy. so here they
are, along with a short clip of Dief using it.

when I made it, I had some idea of what I want it to look like and went to
home depot looking for materials. I stopped a salesperson there to ask
for advice on how to built it, and he got very excited when he heard what
I was doing, and stopped everybody he saw on the way saying "guess what,
I'm helping build a ferret teeter-toter!".

couple of notes about building it. I generally varnish wood before I
build ferret stuff, since the poop does fly sometimes when they get into
a fight. you can use a drill to get the holes alongside the cardboard.
it is also better to drill multiple holes and make it adjustable, and
start off fairly low, it takes them a while to adjust to climbing on the
surface, then you can slant it a bit more. if you have any questions
about how it was built, feel free to drop me a line.

enjoy.
